Greensburg -- The Community Music Program of Seton Hill University will hold recitals at 6:30 p.m. Friday and May 24 and at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall in the Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison St. Information: 724-552-2923.

Hempfield -- Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Concert Series will present the Freya String Quartet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center on the Greensburg campus of the University of Pittsburgh, 150 Finoli Drive. Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., will hold a "Salad Days" art class for children ages 7-10 from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. The cost is $10, and registration is required. Information: 724-837-1500 ext. 10.


North Huntingdon -- Norwin Area Meals on Wheels will hold a card party from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. next Thursday in Mack Hall at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 200 Leger Road. Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., will hold "Can You Do That in Public?," a talk on public art, at noon Wednesday as part of its brown bag lecture series. Speaker will be public art consultant Renee Piechocki. Information: 724-837-1500 ext. 10.


Wilkins -- Symphony East will hold its last meeting of the season at 11 a.m. May 20 at D'Imperio's Restaurant, 3412 William Penn Highway. Lunch will be at noon, followed by a program featuring Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra principal players harpist Gretchen Van Hoesen and flutist Lorna McGhee. James Gorton, recently retired Pittsburgh Symphony co-principal oboe and Ms. Van Hoesen's husband; and Evan Kahn, a student at Carnegie Mellon University, are also expected to participate in the program. Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Cultural Trust, in conjunction with Latshaw Productions, will present comedienne Vicki Lawrence and her character Mama at 2 and 8 p.m. next Thursday at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. Tickets range from $35-$55. Information: 724-836-8000.


Hempfield -- Registration is now being taken for Quest 2013: Finding Your Future, a series of summer day camps for high school students interested in exploring career options taking place in June at and sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, 150 Finoli Drive. The cost is $25 per day, $5 more to cover transportation costs to the venue for an off-campus event. Scholarships are available, with the deadline May 31. Lunch and snacks are provided.
