Who is that masked man, above? Fans know him as Lord Zoltan, pro wrestler, a true lord of the ring.

To others, he is Ken Jugan, Glassport resident, father and school fundraising organizer.

He is the force behind Deaf WrestleFest 2009, which will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday in the gym at Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, 300 E. Swissvale Ave., Edgewood.

Proving he still knows the ropes about wrestling, Mr. Jugan, 51, has put together an attractive card for the extravaganza at the school from which his son Adam, 19, graduated and where son Blaise, 16, is a sophomore. Both are deaf.

Mr. Jugan will not compete, but he helped get J.J. Dillon to do so for the first time since 1989. Mr. Dillon's lengthy wrestling career began with a 1968 match on "Studio Wrestling" in the WPXI studios.

He, Handsome Frank Staletto and Beef Stew Lou Marconi will team up in a six-man tag match against Dominic DeNucci, Cody Michaels and Shane Douglas. Among other participants will be Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Missy Hyatt and B-94 radio's Bubba the Bulldog.

The once-annual event is returning after a seven-year hiatus and is sponsored by the school's Parent-Staff Organization.

Some front-row seats remain at $25. General admission tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. To reserve tickets or for more information, send an e-mail to

Grand finale

The Seton Hill University Theatre Program will end its season the way it always does --with the variety show "Past Present and Future." The finale is free and begins at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

It will, however, be the last performance in Reeves Theatre on campus. Starting in the fall, the university's theater performances will be in the school's new Performing Arts Center on West Otterman Street, Greensburg.
