Pittsburgh police are investigating after $113,000 worth of jewelry and other items were stolen from the home of a Squirrel Hill man who claims to make "rap beats that are used for famous rap music performers."

Isaac Cameron, 21, told police that he picked up a friend from a home on Island Avenue in McKees Rocks on Wednesday and took him to his Denniston Street home.

Mr. Cameron's mother told police she saw the friend go into her son's room and put several items, including a laptop that contains "rap beats" and medications, into a gold backpack, according to a police report. The friend told the woman that he was going to take the items to her son and then ran out of the house.

Pittsburgh police have a suspect but have not yet filed charges.
