Man wanted in Sheraden party bus killing is arrested

A Homewood South man was arrested today in connection with a March 30 homicide in Sheraden.

Michael Lyons, 22, was detained by U.S. Marshals task force officers around 4:30 p.m. in a residence on Susquehanna Street in Homewood South.

Gunfire resulted in the death of Steven Lee, 21, of McKees Rocks, following a fight around 3:40 a.m. March 30 on a party bus traveling from South Side to Sheraden.

Mr. Lyons faces charges of criminal homicide and carrying a firearm without a license.

Another man wanted in the killing -- James Lawrence, 21, of East Hills -- is still at large. Criminal homicide, conspiracy and firearms charges were filed against him April 17.
