Robert Hahn of Peters has been named director of pharmacy at Monongahela Valley Hospital and Regional Cancer Center. He worked as director of pharmacy at Canonsburg General Hospital for 25 years.
He earned his bachelor's of science degree in pharmacy from West Virginia University and a master's degree in business administration from Wheeling Jesuit University.
Hahn is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists and the American Pharmaceutical Association. He also serves as president of the Peters Township Wrestling Boosters.
Mike Caffrey of South Fayette was named chief financial officer of Dover Chemical Corp. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dartmouth College, receiving a bachelor's and a master's in business administration.
Bill Ankrom, who had been an athletic trainer at Mt. Lebanon High School since 2000, has been promoted to athletic training team leader at the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine, in the UPMC Sports Performance Complex on Pittsburgh's South Side.
Ankrom has been a member of the UPMC athletic training staff since 1996, contracted to Mt. Lebanon High School.
With more than 40 certified athletic trainers, UPMC has the region's largest staff of trainers and has service contracts with 39 area high schools and seven local colleges and universities. As athletic training team leader at UPMC, Ankrom is responsible for handling the daily operations of the entire staff.
Ankrom has served as an athletic trainer at Central Catholic High School and Keystone Oaks High School, as well as in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
Walt Lewetag, who has worked with Ankrom at Mt. Lebanon High School for two years, and newly hired Dan Stechly will serve as athletic trainers for the school.
John Kruppa of North Strabane recently joined the sales team of Prudential Preferred Realty's Peters office.
Before joining Prudential he was a health-care practitioner. He holds a master's degree in speech pathology from California University of Pennsylvania.
Kruppa has been a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America for 16 years and a Rider Coach volunteer for PennDOT's Motorcycle Safety Program for six years.
