CAMPUS EVENTS

Hempfield -- The Office of Admissions at the Greensburg campus of the University of Pittsburgh, 150 Finoli Drive, will offer Evening Group Presentations today. An information session with an admissions counselor and a campus tour led by a current Pitt-Greensburg student, will begin at 5 p.m. Transfer students also may schedule individual appointments every half-hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Registration is required. CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Turtle Creek -- Electric Heights United Methodist Church, 601 James St., will sponsor a flea market from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Information: 412-824-3303.

CONCERTS

Hempfield -- The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra will present the Curtis Piano Trio, featuring violinist Katya Poplyansky, cellist Oliver Aldort and pianist Andrew Hsu, all students at the Curtis Institute of Music, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center on the Greensburg campus of the University of Pittsburgh, 150 Finoli Drive as the kickoff of the orchestra's Chamber Music Series. The repertoire will comprise Eckhardt-Gramatté's Caprice No. 5 "Danse marocaine" from 10 Caprices; Schumann's Adagio and Allegro, Op. 70; and Mendelssohn's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 49. LECTURES/SEMINARS

Unity -- The Westmoreland Museum of American Art will hold "Abandonment Issues," a talk by Kristen Letts Kovak whose "Pop-Up Exhibition" using discarded items is being displayed through Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. next Thursday at its temporary location, Westmoreland @rt 30, 4764 Lincoln Highway. OPEN HOUSE

Murrysville -- The Murrysville Chapter of the Women's Business Network will hold a fall open house networking event at 8:15 a.m. next Thursday at Dick's Diner, 4200 William Penn Highway. A complimentary breakfast and refreshments will be served. Reservations: 724-516-9078.

RECREATION

Wilkinsburg -- Play Soccer Pittsburgh, an initiative of the Cameroon Football Development Program, will hold a morning of sports activities for children ages 8-13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club, 813 South Ave. The event is free and open to the public. VOLUNTEERS
