CLASSES

North Fayette — Western Allegheny Community Library, 181 Bateman Road, will offer an Italian language course from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays from Saturday to Nov 1. The cost is $35. Classes will not be held on Oct. 11 and 18. Registration: 724-695-8150.

FESTIVALS

Carnegie — Solid Rock Foundation Ministries, 435 Broadway St., will sponsor its annual Community Day from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in the church parking lot behind Papa J’s restaurant. There will be free food, games and prizes. Information: 412-278-3411.

Collier — The annual Rock the Quarry along the Panhandle Trail will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday. Events include music, food, a science demonstration, games, raffles, a campfire, live music and more. Information: 724-693-0870.

LIBRARIES

North Fayette — The adult department, of Western Allegheny Community Library, 181 Bateman Road, will sponsor the following events at 6 p.m. except where indicated. Registration: 724-695-8150.

• Anime Club, Tuesday.

• Coupon Exchange, Tuesday.

• Yarnies, for those interested in knitting, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.

• Lens Get Together Photo Club, next Thursday.

RECREATION

Green Tree — The Green Tree RCA Board and the Green Tree Woman’s Civic Club will host a Ladies Night Out from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Wilson Park Pool. Information: 412-921-1110.

SOCIAL

Collier — The township will sponsor a Conversation Salon at 1 p.m. Monday in the Community Room, 2418 Hilltop Road. Information: 412-279-2525.
