The South Fayette school board tonight approved the 2014-15 proposed budget for Parkway West Career & Technology Center.

Parkway's $6.32 million budget decreased by $287,000 compared to the current (2013-14) school year.

South Fayette’s contribution is $181,398—about $86,000 less than last year.

“They’ve done some reorganization at Parkway and taken some cost-savings measures,” Superintendent Bille Rondinelli said.

Students from 12 public and two private school districts attend the vocational/technical school in North Fayette, including about 19 South Fayette students a day.
