Green Tree — Cub Scout Pack 202 will sponsor a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday in the cafeteria at St. Margaret of Scotland's Catholic School, 915 Alice St. Donations are $6 a plate. Proceeds benefit a summer camp fund. Information: 412-952-8409.


Scott — The Scott Township Library, 301 Lindsay Road, will hold a Conversation Salon from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday to discuss the role that computers and the Internet should play in our lives and how it affects our relationships with others, as well as society. Information: 412-429-5380.


Green Tree — The Green Tree Garden Club will meet at noon next Thursday at the Green Tree Fire Hall, 825 Poplar St. Lunch will take place at 11 a.m., followed by the program, “Expert Pruning Tips,” presented by Carol Chernega of One Garden at a Time, at 12:30 p.m. Information: 724-622-8325.

New Brighton — Beaver Valley Artists will meet at 7 p.m. next Thursday at the Merrick Art Gallery, 1100 Fifth Ave. The program will include a workshop on preparing pictures of artwork and transferring them to CD. Robinson — Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Breakfast Briefing focused on Regional Development at 7:30 a.m. Friday at Chartiers Country Club, at 601 Baldwin Road. Jerry Bunda of the Imperial Land Corp., Dennis Davin of Allegheny County Economic Development, Barry Ford of Continental Real Estate Cos. and Lou Oliva of Newmark Grubb Knight and Frank Information will serve on a panel. Bridgeville — AARP will be providing tax preparation assistance from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through April 7 at the Bridgeville Public Library, 505 McMillen St. An appointment is required and participants must bring their social security cards, a photo ID and bank account information to the appointment.
