A North Fayette man waived a preliminary hearing today on charges of child pornography possession.

The Pennsylvania attorney general's office on Friday charged David S. Stacy, 47, after an investigation with the Indiana County district attorney's office found "numerous" files with "extremely explicit" images of minors engaged in sex acts and poses, according to an attorney general's office press release.

Investigators found online files containing the explicit images and agents later traced the files to Mr. Stacy's computer. While searching Mr. Stacy's home, forensic examiners found computer videos of children as young as 4 years old forced into graphic sexual acts, according to the attorney general's office.

Mr. Stacy remained in the Allegheny County Jail on 14 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

North Fayette police helped with the investigation.
