Two people, including a 16-year-old, were injured in a shooting early this morning in Aliquippa.

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Linmar Terrace around 3:20 a.m. for a report that shots had been fired.

The teenager and a 23-year-old suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to Pittsburgh-area hospitals by ambulance, Aliquippa Det. Sgt. Steven L. Roberts said in a press release. The 23-year-old was treated and released this morning, Sgt. Roberts said. He didn't know the condition of the 16-year-old, but said he wasn't as seriously hurt as the other person.

No arrests have been made. Aliquippa police ask anyone with information to call 724-375-6682.
