A man was shot in this chest early this morning after a fight inside a Stowe bar, Allegheny County police said.

County police homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman said Stowe officers went to Bob's Tavern in the 800 block of Broadway Street about 1:40 a.m.

A 27-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive, Lt. Schurman said.

Police believe the dispute between the men concerned money.

Officers, already in the area when they were dispatched, took a 22-year-old man into custody, the lieutenant said.

Christopher Pollard, 22, was charged with attempted homicide, receiving stolen property, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and a firearms violation because he was a person not to possess guns, court records show.

At least three or four other customers were inside the bar when the incident occurred, but they were not hurt.
