FOR CHILDREN

Crafton -- The Early Childhood Program of St. Philip School, 52 W. Crafton Ave., will hold a Spring Celebration from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Children ages 2-5 and their parents are invited to attend for a story, crafts, snacks, and information about the program. Information: 412-928-2742.

FUNDRAISERS

Ambridge -- The Ambridge Historic District will hold a plant swap from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Akulina's Antiques, 260 13th St., and at Good Intent Trading, 1216 Church St. Annuals, perennials, herbs and other plants will be accepted. Annuals, yard art and pottery will be available for sale. A 50/50 raffle will be held. Proceeds benefit the Ambridge Historic District plaque program. Information: 724-312-0708.

Moon -- The Friends of the Moon Township Library will hold "All About Chocolate" from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the library, Suite 100, 1700 Beaver Grade Road. Cost: $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Information: 412-269-0334.

LIBRARIES

Green Tree -- The Green Tree Public Library, 10 W. Manilla Ave., will sponsor "What Makes a Rare Book Rare?" at 7 p.m. next Thursday. Speaker will be appraiser and bookseller John Schulman. Information: 412-921-9292.

ON STAGE

Beaver Falls -- The Geneva College Symphonic Band will perform its annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Metheny Fieldhouse. The repertoire will include "Parable," "Schindler's List," "King Kong," "Carnegie Anthem" and "True Calling." The Geneva College Percussion Ensemble also will present selections. OPEN HOUSE

Coraopolis -- The Coraopolis Memorial Library, 601 School St., will host a Spring Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Friday. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes. Information: 412-264-3502.

Bridgeville -- The Bridgeville Ministerium will sponsor a prayer breakfast at 7 a.m. next Thursday at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Ave., in recognition of the National Day of Prayer. Information: 412-956-1910.
