Carnegie

Jim Rice, 38, of Carnegie, was arrested Saturday by Carnegie police, who turned him over to Collier police on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of a minor and criminal attempt.

Collier police said the charges stemmed from a suspected theft incident at Bigley Plumbing on Noblestown Road, where Mr. Rice is accused of abandoning an 11-year-old boy and driving off to avoid detection.

Heather E. Compton, 19, of Darlington, Beaver County, was charged Friday with heroin possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles Petroski, 27, of Industry, Beaver County, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charles D. Hawkins, 42, of Pitcairn, was charged Saturday with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on West Main Street.

Machelle L. Muse, 33, and Louis E. Pentecost, 36, both of Carnegie, were charged Saturday with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on East Main Street.

Kimberly Baker, 39, of Mount Oliver, was arrested Dec. 13 on a warrant charging her with retail theft Nov. 29 at the Family Dollar store.

Kenneth Turner, 56, of Carnegie, was charged Dec. 12 with public drunkenness on Highland Avenue.

Collier

Craig Moore, 21, of Sewickley, was charged Sunday with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he hit a stranger at the Eat'n Park restaurant on Washington Pike.

Walter Krasinski, 55, of Heidelberg, was charged Dec. 2 with driving under the influence of alcohol on Noblestown Road.

Zachary Gonze, 20, of Bridgeville, was charged Dec. 11 with theft at Home Depot, Chartiers Valley Shopping Center. Police said Mr. Gonze was accused of stealing cash and merchandise.

A police officer stopped a car Dec. 15 for a traffic violation at Collier Town Square and charged Scott Warman, 18, of Garfield Avenue, Heidelberg, with underage possession of alcohol. His 16-year-old passenger was charged with disorderly conduct.

Ingram

Albert C. Love, 42 of Oakdale, was charged Friday with robbery, aggravated assault, theft and reckless endangerment after he knocked a woman down and stole her purse in the Crafton Ingram Shopping Center. The woman screamed and two people caught him near Giant Eagle.

George Tracey Jr., 47, of Ingram, was charged Friday with public intoxication on Center Street.

Alycia Andrews, 20, of Pittsburgh, was charged Dec. 13 with disorderly conduct after an incident at an apartment complex on West Prospect Avenue.

Ohmar C. Pack, 29, of Pittsburgh, has been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and retaliation against a witness or victim after an assault Nov. 30 in a Berry street residence.

Scott

Brad Gavlik, 24, of Mt. Lebanon, was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol on Greentree Road after, police said, they saw his vehicle stuck in the mulch at the Denny's restaurant parking lot.

Corwin Cosentino, 40, of Scott, was charged last Thursday with corruption of minors and retail theft after, police said, they viewed a video of him encouraging his underage daughter to shoplift a $3.99 bottle of Mogan David wine from the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirit Store on Cochran Road.

Whisper Hartz, 27, of Scott, was charged Sunday with simple assault after a dispute on Artvue Drive.

South Fayette

During the night of Dec. 14-15, a $2,000 Dell laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked car in the 5000 block of Forest Edge Drive, a $900 portable Magellan GPS unit was taken from an unlocked car on Old Fayette Trail and a car window was broken on a locked vehicle in the 5000 block of Forest Edge Drive.
