Carnegie

Eric Truzzi, 33, of South Fayette, and John Kasavich, 31, of Collier, were charged Sept. 5 with burglary and conspiracy in connection with an incident in the 500 block of Washington Avenue.

Marianna L. Johnson, 22, of Carnegie, was charged Sept. 7 with burglary, theft and criminal trespass after an incident at Carnegie Towers.

Theresa Young, 30, of Carnegie, was charged Sept. 5 with simple assault after an incident on Bank Street.

Vincent A. Martin Jr., 53, of Porto El Cerrito, Calif., was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct Saturday during the Arts and Heritage Festival.

Collier

Kevin Schlatterer, 26, of Upper St. Clair, faces numerous charges after, police said, he failed to heed a police officer's direction to stop at the Noblestown Road-Interstate 79 road construction site.

Schlatterer sped away and was chased by police. He crashed his car into a utility pole. He is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault by vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to obey traffic controls, speeding, reckless driving and reckless endangerment. Schlatterer had a passenger in his car.

Two employees of Home Depot in the Chartiers Valley Shopping Center were charged Friday with retail theft and criminal conspiracy.

Police said David Soubie, 40, of South Fayette, was caught stealing $400 worth of lumber. They said Michael Robinson, 24, of Eighty Four, took $225 worth of merchandise to the store's checkout counter, but Soubie did not charge him for the purchases.

Robert Foley, 50, of Bulger, was charged with failure to obey traffic control measures and operating without a valid car inspection after, police said, he was speeding on Ewing Road.

Kennedy

Robert Robinson, 53, and Susan Caliguire, 46, both of Pittsburgh, were arrested Sept. 7 on identity theft charges after, police said, they made an unauthorized $3,500 withdrawal from a Kennedy woman's account.

Joseph Zimage, 23, of Oakdale, was charged Saturday with retail theft after, police said, he was caught taking six DVD movies from Giant Eagle.

Scott

Christopher Jacobs, 24, and William Jacobs, 23, both of Scott, were charged last Thursday with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia near Rocky's Lounge, Washington Pike.

A police officer said he saw a red Chevrolet Cavalier driven by the younger brother turn the wrong way onto School Street.

Police then found seven stamp bags of heroin hidden in a cigarette pack, as well as several homemade mechanisms for inhaling.

James Pruss, 45, of Scott, was charged Sept. 6 with simple assault after a domestic violence incident in which a woman was injured on Superior Street.

Albert D. Furdey, 39, of Scott, was charged Saturday with public drunkenness after he was found on the ground in a parking lot.

South Fayette

Thieves stole items Friday night from unlocked cars parked on Larktree Circle and Hunting Ridge Trail. On Larktree Circle, a wallet and CDs were taken from a 2000 Jeep Liberty.

On Hunting Ridge Trail, a portable CD player, 25 CDs and a school bag were taken from a 1991 Honda.
