At least two people were injured this morning in a vehicle collision in Washington County.

A county dispatch supervisor said two medical helicopters were requested after two vehicles collided shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Park Avenue near the intersection with Armour Street and the entrance to the Washington Cemetery, near Washington's border with North Franklin.

The crash was reported with heavy entrapment. It took crews about 40 minutes to extricate the occupants, the supervisor said.

It was not immediately clear how many people were in each car.
