Two Fayette County men were among five Pennsylvanians arrested this week on child pornography distribution charges following investigations by the state attorney general's Child Predator Unit.
William Murray Jr., 51, of Uniontown, and Thomas Hall, 60, of McClellandtown, were both taken into custody Tuesday.
State troopers executed a search warrant at Mr. Murray's house and said they seized several media storage devices containing child pornography. Mr. Murray is charged with possession and distribution of child porn. He was jailed on a $100,000 straight bond pending a preliminary hearing Jan. 22.
Mr. Hall was arrested Tuesday after a five-month investigation targeting allegations that he downloaded and shared child pornography. He is charged with possession and distribution and was also being held in jail on a $100,000 straight bond. He faces a preliminary hearing Jan. 21.
One of the other suspects is from Bedford County and the other two are from the Philadelphia area.
