Greene County restaurant damaged by fire

Firefighters have cleared the scene of a blaze that heavily damaged a Greene County restaurant today.

A Greene County emergency dispatcher said the fire broke out at 5:42 a.m. at the Ice Plant eatery, located on Stony Hill Road in Greensboro. The building formerly housed an ice plant.

Firefighters were on the scene for about five hours. No one was hurt. There was no immediate information as to the cause of the fire.
