CLASSES

Jefferson Hills -- Allegheny County Penn State Master Gardeners programs will be held in the community room of Jefferson Hills Municipal Center, 925 Old Clairton Road. Scott -- The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh-South Hills, 345 Kane Blvd., will offer a new prenatal yoga class at 1 p.m. Saturdays through April 6. FISH FRY

McKeesport -- St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 220 Eighth St., will host a fish fry from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each Friday during Lent.

Carnegie -- The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 32 will hold its fish fry, including baked cod and baked potatoes, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and March 22 at the Ukrainian-American Citizens Clubs, 302 Mansfield Blvd.

FUNDRAISERS

Bridgeville -- The 15th annual Curves food drive will continue through March 23 to benefit the Bridgeville Area Food Bank. Donations, including cereal, tuna, peanut butter and rice, and monetary donations, can be dropped off at 3249 Washington Pike, 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 a.m-1 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. Wednesday and Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.

Dormont -- Friends of Dormont Pool will have its seventh annual St. Patrick's Day party from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the recreation center above the pool, 1444 Hillsdale Ave. For tickets at $20 per person or $35 per couple, contact Sarann Fisher, 412-561-7692, or sarann5@verizon.net, buy at the door or through ShowClix. Jefferson Hills -- An Easter version of the "Late Night Catechism Series" will be performed at 7 p.m. April 5 at St. Thomas A'Becket, 139 Gill Hall Road. Tickets are $30 and will be on sale in the church office and after Masses in March. Proceeds fund the church building campaign.

OUTDOORS

Bethel Park -- The One Voice Christian Vocal Ensemble, directed by David F. Pressau, will present the free 21st season Lent concert at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Road, at 7 p.m. March 24.

SALES

Scott -- A children's and teen's clothing sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. next Thursday and March 22 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 23 at the Bower Hill Fire Hall, 161 Vanadium Road.

Jefferson Hills -- The Friends of Jefferson Hills Public Library is seeking donations of used books and items such as scarves, belts, jewelry and photo frames, for its annual sale from April 11 to 15. Items may be dropped off at the library, 925 Old Clairton Road, during business hours.

Mt. Lebanon -- St. Winifred Church Women's Guild will hold its 43rd annual sale from 5 to 8 p.m. April 5 and from 9 a.m. to noon April 6 in Benedict Hall, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road.

North Franklin -- The Washington Antiques Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24 at the Consol Energy Park, 1 Washington Federal Way. Subsequent fairs will be held on the last Sunday of each month.

Registered nurses are welcome.

Dormont -- The Dormont Historical Society will present a free talk on Pittsburgh's rivers by local author, blogger and historian Daniel J. Burns at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dormont Presbyterian Church, at Potomac and Espy avenues. All are welcome.

Jefferson Hills -- Physician Shalini Vijaykumar will discuss thyroid problems and treatment at a free talk from 5 to 7 p.m. March 28 at the James Bibro Pavilion, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, 565 Coal Valley Road. To register, call 412-469-7100.
