Democrat Tom Wolf holds a commanding lead over Gov. Tom Corbett with four months until the November election, according to a Franklin & Marshall poll released today.
Mr. Wolf, a York County businessman and former Secretary of Revenue under Gov. Ed Rendell, led 47-25 percent, with 27 percent of voters still undecided.
Mr. Corbett faces the prospect of becoming the first incumbent governor to lose re-election in Pennsylvania since the state Constitution was amended in 1968 to allow for a second term.
Mr. Wolf won the state Democratic primary May 20, capturing 57 percent of the vote among a field of four and winning every county.
