A Grove City man was jailed after he was charged with several offenses concerning the disappearance of guns, ammo and cash from a gun shop in Mercer County.

Enoch Blackburn, 40, was jailed Dec. 11 after police served a search warrant at his house and seized guns, ammo, cash and other items consistent with things stolen during the past 18 months from Altra Firearms in Jackson Center, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Troopers said Blackburn had been an employee of the business. They said Mr. Blackburn was sent to the Mercer County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.

One of the recovered guns was a Springfield M14 rifle with an unauthorized silencer; troopers said the rifle had fully automatic firing capability. They also said its serial number had been obliterated.

Mr. Blackburn was charged with theft, receiving stolen property, possession of offensive weapons, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
