Three people, including a child, were hurt Saturday afternoon in a rear-end collision in Clarion County.

Pennsylvania State Police at Clarion said Justin Barr, 26, of Shippenville, was cited for careless driving in connection with the accident that occurred about 4 p.m. on Route 322 in Paint.

Police said a car driven by Martin Button, 51, of Clarion, was stopped along the highway, waiting to make a turn into a Dairy Queen, when a station wagon driven by Mr. Barr failed to stop and struck the back of Mr. Button's car.

The impact pushed Mr. Button's car into a block wall in the parking lot of the Dairy Queen.

Police said Mr. Barr and a 3-year-old passenger received minor injuries. Neither required immediate hospital treatment.

Mr. Button also was hurt and was transported to a hospital. Police described Mr. Button's injuries as minor.
