New Castle woman killed in three-vehicle crash

A New Castle woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash this morning, the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said.

Viola Antonelli, 82, was a passenger in one of the cars that crashed on Moravia Street in New Castle at 8:05 a.m. She was flown to UPMC Presbyterian where she died at 11:07 a.m. from blunt force trauma of the trunk and lower extremities, according to the medical examiner's office.
