Allegheny County sheriff's deputies this morning padlocked The Boathouse Hotel in Natrona neighborhood of Harrison this morning for nonpayment of the Allegheny County drink tax.

In a news release, county Treasurer John Weinstein said he got a court order to close the bar because it has been "habitually delinquent" in paying the tax and owes $5,685 in unpaid taxes.

The county charges a 7 percent tax on poured drinks.
