McCandless -- Northland Public Library, 300 Cumberland Road, will host a rose exposition presented by the Pittsburgh Rose Society from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Information: 412-364-3227.


McCandless -- Northland Public Library Foundation will partner with the Franklin Inn restaurant for this month's Bread for Books fundraiser, a Mexican Fiesta every Tuesday in June. When presented with a donation voucher, the Franklin Inn will donate 20 percent of the total bill to the library. Vouchers are available throughout the library and can be downloaded from or picked up at the restaurant. The Franklin Inn is at 2313 Rochester Road.

North Park -- Catholic Hospice will hold its Peace. Love. Run. 13.1 Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk on June 23 at the North Park Boathouse. The half marathon starts at 7:30 a.m.; the 5K Run/Walk starts at 8 a.m. Early registration due by June 21. Fee for half marathon: $45, $50 on race day. Richland -- St. Richard Church, 3841 Dickey Road, will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 and 15. Proceeds benefit parish-wide initiatives, including the youth ministry. Information:


Richland -- St. Barnabas Health System will host Terri Kroh, director of The Center for Pharmacy Services, who will present a discussion on medication safety and proper disposal at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road. Information: 724-443-7231.
