CLASSES

Hampton -- Depreciation Lands Museum, 4743 S. Pioneer Road, will offer an Open Hearth Cooking Class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 and a Beehive Bake Oven Class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11. Both classes are open to teens and adults. Fee for each day-long class: $40, includes all supplies. Class size limited. Prepaid registration required. CONCERT

McCandless -- Handbell solo artist Nancy Hascall of Lake Oswego, Ore., will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday in St. Alexis Church, 10090 Old Perry Highway. FUNDRAISERS

Ross -- The Marcels will perform a concert to benefit St. Sebastian School at 7 p.m. April 19 in the Ross community center, 1000 Municipal Drive. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar and open seating. Admission: $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Tickets and information: 724-719-4988.

Ross -- Animal Friends will hold its annual Bow Wow Bingo and buffet dinner fundraiser at 7 p.m. May 4 at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center, 3579 Masonic Way. Sally Wiggin of WTAE-TV and P.J. Maloney of KQV Radio will call numbers and hand out prizes. Admission: $70; tables of six or eight can be reserved. All proceeds benefit Animal Friends' homeless residents. Space is limited. Millvale -- North Hills Community Outreach will hold its annual pasta dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 12 in the Millvale Community Center, 416 Lincoln Ave. Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door. Information: 412-487-6316, option 2 or mschristina@nhco.org.

Marshall -- Jergels Rhythm Grill, 103 Slade Lane, will host the "Rock for Autism" show at 7 p.m. April 18. The Options, Maddie Georgi and The Elliotts are scheduled to perform. Proceeds benefit the Autism Center of Pittsburgh. Tickets: tickets.jergels.com.

LIBRARIES

• Bruce Wells, manager of restoration at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington, Pa., will give a talk titled "Touring North Pittsburgh by Trolley" accompanied by a film at 7 p.m. next Thursday. Registration required.

• Anthony Kovatch, a doctor with Pediatric Alliance, and Carol Utay and Diane Hartman of Total Learning Centers will speak at 7 p.m. next Thursday about the newest therapies and interventions, both medical and non-medical, for children with undiagnosed or diagnosed attention problems or with autism spectrum symptoms. Free. Registration required.

• Ask the organizers, 7 p.m. April 25, a panel from the National Association of Professional Organizers will be at the library to offer insight to help organize homes, businesses and lives.

MEETINGS

Fox Chapel -- The Fox Chapel Area Branch of The American Association Of University Women will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, Fox Chapel Road. Brian O'Neill will discuss his book, "The Paris of Appalachia: Pittsburgh in the Twenty-first Century."

Shaler -- Bauerstown AARP Chapter 2490 will meet at noon Tuesday at Bauerstown Fire Hall, Wible Run Road. Guests and new members welcome. Information: 412-821-4124.

SALE
