A 59-year-old man from Indiana Borough swerved toward a police vehicle during a pursuit Friday evening and faces multiple charges, state troopers reported Saturday.
Charles A. Randolph did not stop when police attempted to pull over his 2007 Chevy pickup, according to the report. From the 900 block of Philadelphia Street, in Indiana Borough, he fled to White Township, running red lights and driving erratically, according to the report.
At one point he swerved toward a police vehicle, troopers reported. After troopers used an unspecified technique to immobilize the truck, he lost control and hit the concrete base of a sign.
Mr. Randolph faces charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, fleeing and eluding police and reckless driving.
