A Greensburg woman was killed Thursday in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Monroeville.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified her as Lucille Nicasio, 83. An autopsy is scheduled for today or Saturday.
The crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. at the turnpike interchange near Exit 57, authorities said.
A Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Richard M. Very Jr. of Greensburg drove into the back of a tractor-trailer stopped at the toll booths, Pennsylvania State Police said in a press release.
Ms. Nicasio went into cardiac arrest and later died at Forbes Hospital, state police said.
