Two killed in Somerset crash

Two people were killed today in a two-vehicle crash in Somerset county, state police said.

The crash happened at 12:02 p.m. at the intersection of Cross Road and Copper Kettle Highway in Milford, state police said in a press release.

Amy Oblack and a passenger, both 25, were in a Subaru Outback traveling west on Cross Road, and Roger Hay and Glennes Miller, both 61, were in a GMC Sierra headed south on Copper Kettle, when the Subaru hit the GMC in the passenger side.

The passenger in the Outback, whose identity has not been released, and Mr. Hay were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by county Coroner Wallace Miller.

Ms. Oblack and Ms. Miller were severely injured, state police said.

State police at the Somerset barracks are investigating.
