A North Side man was arrested this afternoon in connection with the rape of an 18-year-old in McKees Rocks last year.

Eugene T. David, 45, surrendered to Pittsburgh police around 4:30 p.m. without incident, according to Allegheny County Sheriff William Mullen.

Mr. David was wanted on charges of rape, terroristic threats, and unlawful restraint in the McKees Rocks incident that took place in July.

He was also wanted on two bench warrants when he failed to appear for trial in August on weapons charges stemming from a Dec. 24, 2012, shooting in a Northview Heights public housing complex. Mr. David was shot during the incident.
