Hill District shooting victim in stable condition

A mother who was shot in the Upper Hill District Friday afternoon was in stable condition Saturday, according to Pittsburgh public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler.

Patsy Crawford was taken to UPMC Presbyterian, talking and alert, Ms. Toler said on Friday. She was shot at least once in the hip and possibly a second time,

An autopsy revealed her daughter, Tina Crawford, died from multiple gunshots to the neck and trunk, the county medical examiner said today.

Ms. Toler said there were no further updates to the investigation this evening.
