Squirrel Hill Tunnel accident slows outbound traffic

State police, firefighters and emergency personnel have responded to a motorcycle-car accident inside the Squirrel Hill Tunnel this afternoon, which is causing traffic to back up outbound on the Parkway East.

First reported at 3 p.m., a state police spokeswoman said one lane is still open through the tunnel and vehicles involved in the accident are now being moved out of the tunnel. There are no reports of serious injuries.
