Pittsburgh police are investigating after a body was discovered in woods Sunday night near the Northview Heights housing complex, the scene of several shootings in recent weeks.
Police were called shortly after 9:30 p.m. after Northview Heights residents reported finding a body in the woods behind one of the units. Witnesses told police they saw something dumped from a car.
The gated community is owned by the Pittsburgh Housing Authority.
