Parts of the facade of a Hazelwood apartment building came tumbling to the ground Saturday afternoon, apparently because of the weather.
Shortly after 6:15 p.m., bricks from the upper facade of the building at Chaplain Way and Path Way fell to the the sidewalk, firefighters said. No one was injured.
"It doesn’t appear to be struck by lightning but it does appear to be weather related," Battalion Chief Roy McDonald said.
An inspection of the building will take place tomorrow, Chief McDonald said. The family living there most likely will be able to stay, he said.
