Police investigate attempted luring in Greenfield

Pittsburgh police are searching for a man who tried to abduct a girl in Greenfield Wednesday night.

The incident occurred in the 4100 block of Rosalia Place shortly after 9 p.m. when a man got out of a red Honda and grabbed one of two girls who were riding their bikes in the neighborhood, according to city public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler. The girl struggled with the man and eventually got away. The girls then rode off on their bikes.

Police said the vehicle had a partial license plate of GDG. The suspect is described as an older white man with wrinkles and glasses. Police said he is 5 feet 7 inches tall and wore a gray shirt and shorts.
