Two firefighters were injured battling a four-alarm house fire this morning in Dormont, according to the Mt. Lebanon fire department.

Borough Mayor Phil Ross said two firefighters went to UPMC Mercy with non-life-threatening injuries after they fell partially through an opening in the floor. One hurt his ribs in the fall, he said.

The owner of the house in the 2800 block of Crosby Avenue was not home at the time, and no other injuries were reported. The fire was reported just before 10:15 a.m.
