The body of a 23-year-old man from Blawnox was found partially buried in debris this afternoon near Gold Way and Byron Street in North Oakland and Pittsburgh police are investigating.

Lt. Daniel Herrmann said the man, identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office tonight as Andrew McMunn, was fully clothed and bore no obvious signs of trauma.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

Lt. Herrmann said Mr. McMunn appeared to have been in a small ravine along the back of a large commercial building that fronts on Melwood Avenue for a day or two before a resident noticed a red tennis shoe sticking out of the debris.

The building contains an apartment and a personal training business.

Several neighbors who watched as police investigated said they were disturbed by the incident but asked not to be interviewed.
