Fugitive arrested in Larimer

Allegheny County sheriff’s deputies arrested a fugitive wanted on robbery, assault and terroristic threat charges Monday in Larimer.

Sheriff William P. Mullen said in a news release today that Semaj Howard, 21, of Larimer, had been wanted since November for failing to appear at his preliminary hearing and was placed on the sheriff’s most-wanted list in February.

Mr. Howard was arrested at his grandparents’ house Monday evening, where he was found hiding in the attic and taken to the county jail without incident. He faces new charges for illegal possession of a firearm, the sheriff said.
