An Xbox bandit robbed an Oakland video game store at gunpoint this morning, making off with the popular game console.

Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said a man in his 20s entered Gamestop at 3608 Forbes Ave. shortly after 11 a.m., asking to see Xbox games. After giving employees a name that didn't show up in the store's customer database, the robber pulled out a handgun and made off with a $400 Xbox console and a $60 game.

No one was hurt. Police are still looking for the suspect.

"If someone mysteriously shows up with a game console that people must be questioning where they got it from, call us," Ms. Toler said.
