Bus-car collision in Point Breeze leaves one injured

One passenger suffered minor injuries in a crash involving a Port Authority bus and a car in Point Breeze this morning.

Spokeswoman Heather Pharo said a 71C Point Breeze bus was traveling eastbound on Penn Avenue around 11 a.m. when a car on Lexington Avenue slid on ice and collided with the side of the bus before coming to rest in a yard. One bus passenger was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The female driver of the car and a baby inside the car were not hurt, she said.
