It turns out we spoke too soon.

Several donations to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Goodfellows Fund, which provides Christmas toys for needy children, were received after we reported the final total of the campaign on Wednesday.

The revised result: Our readers broke the all-time record collection for the fund, which has existed since 1947.

Once again we offer our sincere thanks -- and congratulations -- to the more than 2,400 people who donated.

Additional donations: $12,654.35

Grand total: $203,312.66

Margery L. Crut Himes $11,354.35

Leonard A. & Mary Jane Schafer Foundation $1,000

Matt Kruszewski $100

William Hertel $100

T. McCue $50

Anonymous $50
