A former Army National Guard recruiter was arraigned this morning on charges accusing him of having sex with an underage female relative.

Charles Hutchison, 29, of Lincoln Place faces charges of statutory sex assault, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault and corruption of minors.

The teenage girl told a Pittsburgh police detective that she and Mr. Hutchison had sex sometime in August and "I think I'm in love with him," according to a criminal complaint. She also told police the two exchanged nude photographs.

Mr. Hutchison is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on $75,000 bail and does not have an attorney on file.

Major Edward Shank, Pennsylvania public affairs officer for the Army National Guard, said Mr. Hutchison resigned today.
