An Allentown man was ordered held for trial this morning in the fatal shooting of a man in Homestead in what police said was a fight over a woman.

Wilbert Keith Johnson, 36, is accused of shooting Qaeed Braxton, 36, of Duquesne, in the early morning of Sept. 22. Mr. Braxton was found at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Amity Street with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police said Mr. Johnson and a friend of Mr. Braxton earlier argued about a woman the friend had been dating because she previously dated Mr. Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is accused of following the men when they left the bar, retrieving a gun from his vehicle and shooting Mr. Braxton in the street.

At today's hearing he was ordered held on charges of homicide, terroristic threats and illegal possession of a gun.
