A Penn Hills man has been charged with stealing more than $4,000 worth of clothing, cologne and watches from the Downtown Pittsburgh Macy's store where he once worked.

Pittsburgh detectives obtained a warrant Monday charging Larry Harris, 20, with three counts of burglary. They wrote in a criminal complaint that Mr. Harris stole the items over the course of three days -- last Christmas Eve, Aug. 30 and Sept. 5.

Police wrote that Mr. Harris returned some, but not all, of the items when they met with him earlier this month. Mr. Harris had been a stock worker at the store; he was fired in December, according to the complaint.
