Smoke forces evacuation of Pittsburgh Perry High School

Pittsburgh Perry High School was evacuated this morning because of smoke that appeared to come from a mechanical room in the school's annex.

A district press release noted no one was injured.

"At this time fire officials have not yet determined if this was a mechanical fire or the origin of smoke," district spokeswoman Ebony Pugh said.

The school was awaiting word from fire officials on when to re-enter.
