The Allegheny County Medical Examiners Office has released the identity of a man fatally shot during an early morning attack in Beltzhoover.
Antoine Dudley, 35, of Natrona Heights, was shot to death early this morning in an attack in Beltzhoover in which a minimum of 15 shots from a handgun were fired.
Officers who responded at 3:39 a.m. to a 911 call found the victim, whose name was not immediately released, lying unresponsive on the kitchen floor in a home at 310 East Warrington Ave. He had been shot multiple times in the upper portion of his body, police said.
Homicide detectives learned the victim and his girlfriend, who resides at the home, had returned there after going to a convenience store. As they were walking up the front steps toward the house, a male began shooting at them from the street, detectives reported.
The couple ran along the side of the house toward the back door and the victim collapsed after being wounded. The woman and a teenager pulled the victim into the house and called 911.
There were six people in the home at the time of the shooting ranging in age from 11 months to 22 years. The only other injury was reported by a 15 year-old girl who was grazed in the arm by a bullet that was fired at the house. Her injury was minor and she was not transported for treatment, detectives said.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the homicide squad at 412-323-7161.
