A man was sentenced to two consecutive life prison terms plus 20 years this morning for the slayings in May 2009 of two sisters in Hazelwood.

Mario Parker, 29, was found guilty in July of the shooting deaths of Rachel Robinson, 32, and Daneen Robinson, 21.

The women had two friends over that evening, and police say that Mr. Parker and another man approached the friends as they were outside. They attempted to rob the men and then entered the sisters' Flowers Avenue home.

The women were each shot more than 10 times.

The second suspect has never been identified.

Judge Edward J. Borkowski sentenced Mr. Parker for murder, burglary, five counts of unlawful restraint and criminal conspiracy.
