Carrick district judge to head county association

District Judge Richard G. King of Carrick has been elected director of the Allegheny County Special Court Judges Association.

The professional organization Friday voted Judge King to the office. It represents the 48 magisterial district judges in Allegheny County as a division of the statewide association, which includes the Philadelphia Municipal and Traffic Court Judges.

Judge King previously served as president of the statewide organization.
