Pittsburgh police said today they intend to charge a husband and wife after shots were fired Tuesday night on the North Side.

The pair, who are from Carnegie, were arguing when the man reached for the woman's cell phone, which was in her bra, Zone 1 Commander RaShall Brackney said.

The commander said the woman's gun was also hidden in her bra and the man accidentally hit it, setting off a round that struck the woman in the arm.

The shooting occurred on East Ohio Street about 11:30 p.m.

The woman ran to Allegheny General Hospital, which was a few blocks away. She was in good condition, the commander said.

Commander Brackney said police intend to charge the man, Christopher Wood, 35, with aggravated assault under the state domestic violence act and plan to charge the woman, Jessica Wood, 33, with carrying a gun without a license.
