Fayette County woman finds possible pipe bomb under car

A Connellsville woman discovered a possible pipe bomb under her car today in Fayette County, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The Allegheny County bomb squad responded around 12:30 p.m. and removed the device to detonate it, state police in Uniontown said in a press release.

The woman called police to West Crawford Avenue in Dunbar about 8:36 a.m. Police blocked roadways, evacuated neighbors, and informed neighboring schools.

State police, the FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating. No arrests have been made.

No injuries were reported.

State police would not name the woman.
